Cette fois, les insatiables diggers se sont tournés vers l’empire du Milieu dans la province du Yunnan avec le groupe de reggae Puman et leur magnifique titre « Bulang Beauty », adapté d’un chant traditionnel de la tribu des Bulang. Dans cette tribu, les femmes mastiquent des noix de bétel aux propriétés médicinales qui leur laissent les dents noircies et constitue un attribut de beauté ; d’où le titre « Bulang Beauty ». Littéralement tombés sous le charme de ce morceau et de l’histoire qui l’accompagne, les beatmakers stéphanois ont eu à cœur d’en proposer une version remixée à la sauce L’Entourloop, pour notre plus grand bonheur ! Ces anciens, nourris au bon grain des sounds systems, de la culture vinyle et bercés par les dialogues épiques du cinéma d’antan, nous concoctent une fine fusion de Reggae et Hip Hop. Ce collectif de beatmakers aiment exploiter les samples, le tout saupoudré de scratchs et d’une french touch vintage qui nous fait voyager depuis la France vers Kingston, Londres et New York! Ils ont acquis leur renommée grâce à des morceaux comme « Dreader Than Dread » ft Skarra Mucci ou « Back In Town » ft Jamalski mais aussi grâce à de nombreux remixes comme « Burn Dem Down » de Capleton. Après la sortie d’une mixtape, d’un Summermix et d’un EP « Back In Town », ils produisent en 2015 leur premier album « Chickens in Your Town » : savant mélange des genres allant du Hip Hop au Reggae avec des featurings tels que Gavlyn, Ruffian Rugged ou encore Youthstar. En septembre 2017 sort leur album "Le Savoir Faire", un projet peaufiné dans le plus grand secret, avec des collaborations pointues et de nombreux featurings. 🇬🇧 L’Entourloop drops a new official remix taken from their excellent DJ-mix "Start From Scratch". This time, the unstoppable diggers looked towards China in the Yunnan Province with Reggae band Puman and their amazing track "Bulang Beauty", adapted from a traditional song of the Bulang tribe. In this tribe, women chew betel nuts with medicinal properties which leave their teeth blackened which become an attribute of beauty; hence the title "Bulang Beauty". Fallen in love with this song and the history that comes with it, the French beatmakers really wanted to offer a remixed version of it with a banging L’Entourloop twist !
